Banana Nut/Seed Protein Bites

Kid Approved👌 Possibly because of the Chocolate, but at least it’s Dark cacao.✔️


These little Gluten Free, Dairy-free bites are packed with protein, fiber, healthy fats, antioxidants, supportive carbs, and so much goodness. Keep these on hand for a quick breakfast, an energy pick-me-up throughout the day, or when you want something sweet. They help balance your blood sugar levels, provide hormone support, sustain energy, and leave you feeling satiated.


They are also an excellent snack to take on a hike or outing.




Mix all ingredients in a food processor:

▫️1 Ripe Banana

▫️2 C Rolled Oats

▫️1/2 C Creamy Peanut or Almond Butter

▫️1/2 C Walnuts

▫️2 TBS Chia seeds

▫️1 TBS Flax or Hemp seeds

▫️1/4 C Honey

▫️1 Tsp Coconut oil

▫️1 TBS Cinnamon

▫️1/2 Tsp Salt

*Optional-add 1 scoop of protein powder




Prep:

Add parchment paper to a sheet pan or glass pan. Roll the dough into balls and add to the pan.

Finish:

In a saucepan, cook on low heat until melted-

1/8 C Coconut oil

1/8 C Raw organic Cacao powder (non-sweetened)

1 TBS Maple syrup

Drizzle with the energy balls with the chocolate and place in the fridge to cool.
