WHAT IS INTEGRATIVE NUTRITION HEALTH COACHING?

Integrative Nutrition is a holistic bio-individual approach to incorporate into your daily life resulting in a transformation process focusing on all areas of life including food, relationships, fitness, career, and spirituality.

DO I STILL NEED MY DOCTOR, THERAPIST, PHYSICAL TRAINER?

A Health Coach does not replace your current support team, but rather implement into your current system to guide you to a healthier you.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INTEGRATIVE/FUNCTIONAL NUTRITION AND CONVENTIONAL?

Integrative and Functional Nutrition/Medicine looks for the root of the cause while factoring all life areas, such as food, physical, environment, and lifestyle. This approach considers the emotional, spiritual, and mental connection involved in vital health.

Conventional or Western medicine is targeted and focused on the immediate symptom and suppresses or fixes without factoring the lifestyle, food, environment, mental, and emotional connection.

IS THERE A DIET PLAN?

Healthy eating will be introduced, but not a specific diet plan.  I teach a lifestyle with a focus on sustainability, rather than a quick fix, magic pill, or fad diet. We will develop a plan that works specifically for your body.

WHAT IF I DON'T REACH MY GOALS DURING THE PROGRAM?

The program is designed for personal growth. You will need to commit to your "why," believe you can change and grow, then I will guide you along the way. The only way for a person to change is through their mindset. I will teach you the necessary techniques to incorporate into your life for sustainable change. You will need to then practice and implement them into your everyday.

WHY DO I NEED A COACH IF I CAN FIND EVERYTHING I NEED TO KNOW ON THE WEB?

We are lucky to have so much information at our fingertips. Most coaches, like myself have done a lifetime of research to better their own health. A coach does the research for you and has studied tactics, saving you time to focus on the implementation and practice of a new lifestyle. This approach of guidance, accountability and support a coach offers will set you up for success.
